My First Post

After the first four American History Foundations trainings, I have found much of the information presented to be valuable to my own teaching and learning.  I loved when Dr. Bauer presented the information about the Native Americans.  It really inspired me to "step up my game" when it comes to teaching about Native Americans.  Also, I found Anthony's presentations on different ways to teach Social Studies content to be relevant to my own teaching practices.  In the most recent sessions, I have learned much about how to incorporate technology in my classroom.  I am excited to use these technologies in my classroom, but I am concerned that I do not have the tools necessary to fully implement these new technologies.  I look forward to future trainings and what they have to offer!
